Ingen Navn Trio

Sun, May 11, 2025, 20:00
Ingen Navn Trio
The Ingen Navn Trio plays virtuoso, sometimes atmospheric music, wandering from beautiful dreamy melodies to wild, energetic, rhythmic parts, showcasing cross-genre creativity. Meditative flowing, but also energetically moving improvisations are interwoven into compositions written by the saxophonist. Nature and ambient sounds are a major source of inspiration for the trio and flow into the music as soundscapes and sound spots. In March 2023, the trio released their debut album "Elewha" on BERTHOLD records, which was nominated for the German Jazz Prize in the category "Debut Album of the Year" in 2024.

Jin Jim

Thu, May 15, 2025, 22:00
Jin Jim
Jin Jim, hailed as the shooting star band of the German jazz scene, fuses Latin, jazz, and rock with unprecedented power. Their music, rhythmically complex yet harmonically accessible, blends influences from flamenco and Indian music to pop. Daniel Manrique-Smith's flute soars over the rhythmic foundation, evoking classical tones, Latin American hues, and wild jazz solos. His vocalizations even hint at Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson.
