Top musicians from the Netherlands and around the world bring you all your favourite classical pieces, as well as tributes to Leonard Cohen and The Beatles, and all your favourite film music.We also present a host of young talent in our summer concerts, including youth orchestras from South Africa and Turkey, and top young classical soloists. After many of the concerts, we offer a meet-and-greet with the artists in an informal setting, or an afterparty with DJ in the Entrance Hall. The Bremer Philharmoniker's benefit advent concert celebrates their 200th anniversary with music director Stefan Klingele, soprano Elisa Birkenheier, tenor Oliver Sewell, and the Theater Bremen children's choir. The program includes works by Bach, Dvořák, film scores, and festive music. Proceeds benefit the WESER-KURIER Christmas charity.

The Concertgebouw’s famous Main Hall is one of the best concert halls in the world, well-known for its exceptional acoustics and special atmosphere. In the Main Hall, you will feel history. Here, Gustav Mahler conducted his own compositions, as did Richard Strauss and Igor Stravinsky. Sergei Rachmaninoff played his own piano concertos in the Main Hall. This is also where musicians such as Leonard Bernstein, Vladimir Horowitz and Yehudi Menuhin gave legendary performances. Benefizkonzert des Bundespräsidenten + Livestream

The WDR Symphony Orchestra will perform at the German President's benefit concert, the proceeds of which will go to the Elly Heuss-Knapp Foundation. The concert features a diverse program with music by Enescu, Ravel, Korngold, and Bernstein, performed by soloists Fatma Said and Sebastian Hornung, and conducted by Cristian Măcelaru. A reception hosted by President Steinmeier and Minister-President Wüst will follow the concert.

40 years after Tina Turner's "Private Dancer" comeback tour, the acclaimed tribute show, "Simply The Best – Die Tina Turner Story," starring Coco Fletcher, is going back on tour. The show chronicles Turner's life and career through live music and impressive scenes, starting from her early successes, the failure of her first marriage, and her sensational solo career. Coco Fletcher's performance is praised for its remarkable resemblance to the original, both visually and vocally.

The Best of Ennio Morricone

World-renowned Oscar winner Ennio Morricone, one of the most prolific film composers in history, created over 500 film scores. His final Oscar came in 2016 for Tarantino's "The Hateful 8." He achieved immortality with "Once Upon a Time in the West." His compositions for "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," "The Mission," and "Cinema Paradiso" are especially famous. Fans can experience Morricone's unforgettable works live, performed by the Milano Festival Opera with original film scene animations.
