FeNek is occasionally visited by a musical gang. So what is it? Well, a gang is a group of people who like and respect each other and are harmonious, not only at concerts. Every meeting brings new musical adventures: together they figure out how to give each other a tune, tap out a rhythm or catch a harmony, while asking each other strange questions. ‘Do tigers eat irises?’ ‘Which is better to have: feathers or quills?’ ‘Who’s the mysterious pumpkin eater?’ As you may have guessed, this is quite a crazy bunch, but they’re also sensitive and attentive to lyrical, romantic sounds... played, for example, on the piano. A Music Kaleidoscope

Attention! All music lovers are cordially invited to a great display of virtuosity! A trumpet in one corner, percussion in another, and a piano between them. The viola, often underestimated, will try to reconcile them. Each instrument will showcase its unique capabilities. What do you think – will they perform better solo, or is it worth joining forces and playing as an ensemble? Younger and older listeners will be told about the history and construction of these instruments. We’ll also consider why they sound so dignified, while not shying away from numerous musical embellishments.

The Moon in a Bowl

How about an invitation to the world of fantasy, unusual stories and beautiful sounds? That’s where we’ll take you during a concert featuring songs composed by Grzegorz Turnau. Over the years, this artist has created music for many TV and theatre productions for children and youngsters. The result of that work is the album Moon in a Bowl, which we have turned to in order to invite you to a unique and magical world in which many adventures, crazy journeys and meetings with your favourite book characters await you.

The History of a Certain Dance

Kołysz się i tocz! Do you know such a dance? Its funny name sounds like an instruction, and the whole world knows it – it’s rock and roll. This lively dance was born in North America. During our concert, we’ll talk about the energetic music and about the great friendship and passion that unites two friends. They danced rock and roll from an early age, devoting all their free time to practising. Each tournament brought them closer to realising their dream of making their favourite dance their main occupation and the purpose of their life. Are you curious how this story ended?

Music has the amazing property that it can take us to any corner of the world, without leaving home. FeNek, who has already made thousands of journeys, knows this very well, although he rarely leaves his beloved Philharmonic. Whenever he dreams of a distant voyage, he invites exceptional artists to the stage, who travel to distant countries with every work they perform. And this time will be no different – we will hear Balkan, klezmer, Polish and Spanish rhythms, but not only that... We’ll be whisked away by clarinets, pianos and percussion instruments. When Warsaw Became the Capital

Have you ever walked around the Old Town in Warsaw and along the cobbled streets from the Castle Square to the New Town Square? If so, you must know that you’ve walked in the footsteps of the old times, when Warsaw became the capital of Poland and King Sigismund III took up residence in the Royal Castle. To find out more about those times, all you have to do is come to the Philharmonic. We’ll tell you what secrets are hidden in the streets of the Old Town, what the fashionable clothes and games used to be. We’ll show you how music was played in the royal chambers and present beautiful instruments characteristic of those times. The concert will include instrumental pieces, court and feast songs, and will be accompanied by historical dance.

Wonders and Marvels

Have you ever seen blue snowballs or chirping dogs? Or perhaps flying cows? The poet saw these wonders and marvels when he closed his eyes. But when he opened them, they all disappeared and... all around him it was just like before. Our concert is an invitation to close our eyes together, and then we’ll soar together into the fairytale world of imagination. There music weaves intriguing tales and is always keen to imitate the characters and sounds of its surroundings. Would you like to hear what it’ll present to us this time?

I’ve Got That Swing!

One... two... and one, two, three, four! FeNek has given the signal for the start of the carnival fun at the Warsaw Philharmonic. Dance tunes, big band sounds, rhythms that set absolutely everything and everyone in motion – you’ll be able to see, feel and hear these and many other amazing things during the concert at the Warsaw Philharmonic. And for undecided music lovers, FeNek has prepared something special: musical seven-mile shoes, thanks to which we’ll be able to visit the farthest corners of the world in search of carnival music! Fairy Lands

The Philharmonic is always filled with different and colourful sounds, especially during carnival season! That’s why FeNek makes sure to celebrate in a special way and invite wonderful guests to the ball. This time he’ll be visited by such distinguished guests as Pocahontas, Alladin, the Lion King and even Elsa. Together, we’ll discover the tunes that entertained or encouraged them during their adventures on the big screen. Perhaps those sounds will enable us to fly on a magic carpet to Africa, see the colours borne by wind or find out what can be heard at the bottom of the sea? Impossible? Anything can happen in the world of music – all you have to do is prick up your ears and be curious about new adventures.
