As a teenager, Madeleine Peyroux started performing on the streets of Paris. Soon after, she dropped out of school and toured European cities with a street music band, reaching back to the USA. In New York, a producer signed her, resulting in her first album at 22. Peyroux, at home in blues, jazz, and chanson, has released nine albums, the latest "Let’s Walk" in collaboration with Jon Herington. He accompanies her as she performs songs from her career with the WDR Big Band under Vince Mendoza.
