KNUSPER, KNUSPER, KNÄUSCHEN...
Oper Leipzig, Foyer (Leipzig)
Unlike a grand opera performance, children experience the Gewandhaus Orchestra and opera soloists up close, observing the conductor's work. The stage features a peculiar little room in 1890 – no TV, fridge, or running water. Greta and Johanna, through a magical suitcase, enter the world of Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, experiencing a thrilling story about loving yet stressed parents and occasionally disobedient children. In this playful theater experience, fear not the witch! Ultimately, the parents find their children, and the family reunites happily.
