Kammerkonzert der Orchesterakademie DSO

Date & Time
Sun, Jun 1, 2025, 17:00
Graduates from music academies possess excellent technical skills, high motivation, and artistic curiosity, making them suitable for orchestral positions. However, orchestral musicians also need to integrate their musicality into the collective, prepare efficiently for new repertoires, and become part of a group. The Ferenc-Fricsay-Academy of the DSO addresses these needs by providing two-year practical training for ten young musicians, involving them in various activities like recordings, concerts, and workshops, and intensive chamber music training for enhancing communication skills.

Kammerkonzert I

Mon, Oct 14, 2024, 20:00
Peter Rainer (Violin), Tobias Sturm (Violin), Andreas Willwohl (Viola), Sebastian Posch (French horn), Dana Sturm (Piano)

Kammerkonzert 2

Ye Wu (Violin), Cristian Suvaiala (Violin), Linda Guo (Violin), Maxime Gulikers (Violin), Marko Milenković (Viola), Christoph Zander (Viola), Susanne Eychmüller (Cello), Christine Penckwitt (Cello), Christiane Tétard (Flute), Svetlin Doytchinov (Oboe), Dörte Sehrer (Clarinet), Haeree Yoo (Horn), Augusto Velio Palumbo (Fagott), Susanne Herzog (Moderator)

Kammerkonzert II

Fri, Nov 8, 2024, 20:00
Wolfram Brandl (Violin), Lifan Zhu (Violin), Yulia Deyneka (Viola), Sennu Laine (Cello), Elisaveta Blumina (Piano)
For more than six decades, the chamber concerts by musicians from the Staatskapelle have been a constant feature of the Staatsoper programme. This season, ensembles have come together to select music from different periods, styles and cultures under the theme of ‘playing together’. On eleven dates in the Apollosaal, which with its special atmosphere is an ideal venue for chamber music and communicative interaction between players and listeners, works from the Baroque to the present day will be performed in constellations that are both exciting and harmonious, in which tangible contrasts play just as important a role as a common resonance and the balancing of opposites.
