Eefje de Visser has more than earned a good reputation as a singer, musician and performer. Her music is captivating and surreal, hopeful and nostalgic. She plays multi-layered, alternative pop and creates a warm visual world in which the viewer can forget time and escape reality exuberantly or quietly. She is going on tour with new songs that songs she wrote during the tour for her last, acclaimed album »Bitterzoet«, during the pandemic, her pregnancy and her first time as a mother.

Young Mozart once exclaimed about the wonderful effect of clarinets. The hr-Sinfonieorchester has six of them, all showcased in this chamber music program. Spanning centuries and styles, they will be played in every imaginable combination, like a shimmering kaleidoscope. A special highlight, not just for chamber music fans. Concert duration: approx. 110 minutes including intermission.

Following its Frankfurt performance, the hr-Sinfonieorchester will tour Arthur Honegger's oratorio "Jeanne d'Arc au bûcher" to Paris, Vienna, and Hamburg. The cast, including Oscar winner Marion Cotillard as Joan of Arc and the Wiener Singverein, will perform at the Philharmonie de Paris, Musikverein Wien, and Elbphilharmonie Hamburg.
