Alexander Glazunov was a Russian composer and conductor, prominent in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. A student of Rimsky-Korsakov, he played a key role in bridging Russian romantic and Soviet music, with works like his symphonies and ballets reflecting rich orchestration and lyrical depth. He also served as director of the Saint Petersburg Conservatory.
