Jorg Widmann, a leading artist and longtime "Frühlings" friend, presents an all-Mozart program. He has "boundless admiration" for Mozart, and will perform his famous last two symphonies and the Sinfonia concertante. Widmann is fascinated by their emotional range, from "absolute cheerfulness to a kind of premonition of death." He conducts the Munich Chamber Orchestra with two of its soloists.
