Hacks' play, Adam und Eva, humorously examines the absurdities of existence and advocates for freedom from moral categories. Composer Mike Svoboda, known for his work in new music, jazz, and performance, sets Hacks' comedy to music, with a libretto by Anne-May Krüger, making its themes relevant to today's audiences.
