rbb's Radio3 relaunches its live series "Die Absolventen" in the rbb rooftop lounge. The show features promising students from the Eisler and Berlin University of the Arts with their professors. The rbb Dachlounge, a broadcast studio, restaurant, and rooftop bar, offers a unique experience. Recordings will air on December 28th at 2 pm on Radio3.

In the 35th year of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Berliner Philharmoniker’s VeloStage project “Harmonies of Unity” combines expressive music with interesting conversations with contemporary witnesses. While the Philharmonie Berlin was being built, the Berlin Wall was also under construction just a few metres away. The beginning of summer and Fête de la Musique invite you to the finale of the VeloStage project in the Philharmonic Garden on 21 June. The “Harmonies of Unity” series is an independent project as part of the Voluntary Social Year of Culture (FSJK).
To mark the 35th year since the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Berliner Philharmoniker’s VeloStage project ‘Harmonies of Unity’ combines expressive music with lively accounts by contemporary witnesses. For the first time, the VeloStage will be used on the grounds of the Berlin Wall Memorial.The ‘Harmonies of Unity’ series is an independent project as part of the Voluntary Social Year of Culture (FSJK).
You can simply go to a concert at the Philharmonie, spontaneously, during your lunch break – and with free admission: every Wednesday at 13:00 between September and June. The programme lasts 40 to 50 minutes: chamber music, piano works or a percussion duo – everything from Tchaikovsky to tango. Members of the Berliner Philharmoniker and the Karajan Academy regularly perform, as well as guests from the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester, the Staatskapelle Berlin and the Berlin music conservatories. As can be expected at a lunch concert, catering is available from 12 noon until shortly before the concert begins.
