New Year’s Concert with Ernie and Bert

Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 11:00
Elbphilharmonie, Großer Saal (Hamburg)
NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, Ernie & Bert, Dave Claessen (Conductor)
Who’s whistling »On the beautiful blue Danube«? Oh right, Ernie and Bert are on their way to the New Year’s concert in the Elbphilharmonie. You can tell from the tip of Ernie’s nose that he’s thinking about how he could make himself useful in the concert: »Well, I’m going on a manhunt with the ›Bandit Gallop‹, I’m turning the ›Tritsch-Tratsch-Polka‹ into a ›Ritsch-Ratsch-Polka‹ and when Bert is completely exhausted after the ›Radetzky March‹, I’ll sing him a lullaby. In the middle of a concert? Oh, that doesn’t matter. You all just sing along, don’t you?«
