Elbphilharmonie, Großer Saal (Hamburg)
Wiener Sängerknaben, Jimmy Chiang (Conductor)
With their perfect, crystal-clear voices, the famous Vienna Boys Choir captivates audiences everywhere. In their Christmas concert »Every Year Again«, they present Advent and Christmas carols alongside classical works. The Vienna Boys Choir is the oldest boys’ choir in the world that does not belong to a church. They are an institution in the history of music and can look back on over 500 years of tradition. From the very beginning, they have been active as musical ambassadors: As early as the 15th century, the first choirboys accompanied Emperor Maximilian I to imperial diets.
