For 40 years, the British Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) has supported talented young musicians. To celebrate, they're embarking on an anniversary tour, stopping in Cologne. Alumni and current members will perform Schubert's Octet, among other pieces, creating a musical bridge to the present. The British composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's romantic Nonet and other contemporary works will also be performed by the YCAT-Collective.
