Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Scheherazade" suite, based on "One Thousand and One Nights", is a colorful composition. The solo violin and harp weave enchanting melodies as Scheherazade narrates, escaping death. Conducted by Andrea Sanguineti, the Essen Philharmonic Orchestra transports listeners to a mystical world.
