Die berühmten Melodien haben schon abertausende Kleine und Große für Klassik begeistert. Ein ganzer Zoo von Tieren ist in den reizvollen 14 Miniaturen zu erleben: der edle Schwan, der mächtige Löwe, die zwitschernden Vögel, die langsame Schildkröte. In ihnen parodierte der verschmitzte Komponist Camille Saint-Saëns zugleich auch so manchen seiner Kollegen. Und das Ganze war eigentlich auch gar nicht für die Öffentlichkeit gedacht, sondern als ein Faschingsscherz, für den sich der Franzose später sogar geschämt hat. Warum? Und welche die einzige Melodie war, die Saint-Saëns nicht peinlich empfand? Das und mehr ist in diesem spielerischen Familienkonzert des hr-Sinfonieorchesters zu erfahren.Konzertdauer: ca. 60 Minuten – keine Pause!
