Mittsommer

Date & Time
Sat, May 17, 2025, 17:00
Light and shadow play a significant role in Scandinavia, with the sun's life-giving warmth eagerly awaited after winter. Malin Bång explores light's speed in "Faces and Moon Splinters," while Bedrossian's "We Met as Sparks" uses light as a musical spark. Slovenian composer Vito Žuraj returns to Cologne in 2025. The program also features choral works by Wennäkoski and Haapanen, new to ACHT BRÜCKEN. Supported by Kunststiftung NRW, the concert will be broadcast on WDR.
