The Franco-Flemish composers of the Renaissance shaped the art of polyphonic singing. The renowned Huelgas Ensemble from Belgium will explore the acoustic possibilities of the Cologne Philharmonic Hall with this music. Depending on the singers' positions, the hall's acoustics can be experienced differently, from intimate three-part harmonies to twelve-part canons, revealing the wonders of Renaissance polyphony.
