Leden van het Concertgebouworkest, Hannah Boer (Actor), Sanne Schuhmacher (Text), Caecilia Thunnissen (Director), Maartje Prins (Design), Desirée van Gelderen (Light)
Nena lives in a country where lying makes your nose grow longer. Everyone in her country wants to have the longest nose because a long nose is something to be proud of. But one morning, something terrible happens. Nena wakes up and her nose stays short. No matter what she does, her nose just won’t grow. She has to solve the problem, and fast! But how?The Nose is a children’s concert full of lies. It’s a performance about a big problem caused by a small nose, about honesty, about what it’s like to be different… and about friendship. This brand-new work was written by composer Renske Vrolijk and librettist Sanne Schuhmacher, commissioned by the Concertgebouw Orchestra and staged by Caecilia Thunnissen. The nose was written with financial support from the Fonds Podiumkunsten.
