With almost 7,500 concerts in over 500 cities and 63 countries, we as the Bavarian State Philharmonic Orchestra have become a cultural ambassador for Bavaria and the whole of Germany and regularly tour, for example, the USA, South America and Asia. Our guest performances there in particular have a long tradition: the first trip to Hong Kong took place as early as 1982, followed by a tour in 1990 to Taiwan and to Korea in 2016. The orchestra has already travelled to China six times and in Japan we have played a total of we have played a total of 125 concerts on 15 tours. This year, it's off to Hong Kong again, Taipei, Kaohsiung and Seoul, with works from our core repertoire.
